The Monitoring Unit provides an update to its 2010 Funding Body analysis documents, presenting breakdowns of service use for the period February 2010 to January 2011.
Analysis at this level of detail is only possible where service use is reported at the organisation level. Not all services are reported to the Monitoring Unit at this granularity which leads to the apparent "holes" in the attachment section numbering below. Services provided by JANET(UK) are explicitly excluded from this report.
Usage data used in our analysis is typically that of sessions (within which a number of activities — searches, downloads, etc. — may occur).
