Revised usage data for Education Image Gallery

EDINA have resubmitted usage data for Education Image Gallery (EIG) following a period of under reporting since December 2008 caused by changes in the authentication system. This article includes the revised data and updated charts from previous reports.

This report covers the period from 1 February 2010 to 30 April 2010 inclusive. The JANET core network suffered 82 minutes of interruption in Scotland but overall availability to organisations has continued to improve. EDINA identified that EIG session data had been under-reported since December 2008.

Identity Providers are upgrading to more modern versions of Shibboleth this summer. The change is causing some problems with services that use the eduPersonTargetedId attribute for user personalisation.
